On 26–27 February 2026, the European Technology Platform Food for Life (ETP F4Life) community met in Brussels to discuss the Implementation Action Plan (IAP) – 2025 Update, which outlines key research and innovation actions supporting the transformation of Europe’s food system.
ETP Food for Life brings together industry, researchers, and policymakers to define research and innovation priorities aimed at strengthening the sustainability, resilience, and competitiveness of the European food sector. More information about the platform is available here:

The programme included a Food for Life Expert Network (FLEN) workshop and the ETP Food for Life Annual Event, where the updated Implementation Action Plan was presented and discussed.
Prof. Dr. Nives Ogrinc, a member of the FLEN network, contributed to the preparation of the Implementation Action Plan and attended the events in Brussels.
