On 25 September 2025, the EMN Food General Meeting took place in Ljubljana as a satellite event of the 8th IMEKOFOODS Conference. The meeting included updates on EMN Food and the SRA workplan, followed by presentations of several projects (ScreenFood, PlasticTrace, and MetroFood). It concluded with a discussion on upcoming events, EMP calls, and potential new partnerships. The meeting was also attended by partners of METROFOOD-SI, including NIB, the Institute for Oliveculture (ZRS Koper), and the Jožef Stefan Institute, as they are also member institutes of EMN Food.
